‘Param Sundari’ trailer brings Sidharth-Janhvi’s cross-cultural romance to life

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are ready to bring a fresh dose of romance to the big screen with their new film ‘Param Sundari’, and the trailer has everyone talking.Dropped on Tuesday, the two-and-a-half-minute sneak peek is a colorful ride into a North-meets-South love story. Sidharth plays Param, a charming Punjabi boy from Delhi, while Janhvi steps into the role of Sundari, a graceful dancer from Kerala.

Their worlds couldn’t be more different, but sparks fly the moment they meet; right in the middle of a church, no less.

The ‘Param Sundari’ trailer is full of playful banter, dramatic turns, and vibrant cultural mash-ups. From Param’s cheeky flirting to Sundari’s confident comebacks, the chemistry between the two leads feels natural and fun.

But it’s not all smooth sailing. Things take a turn when Sundari accuses Param of breaking hearts just for fun. That’s when Param decides to prove his love is the real deal.Directed by Tushar Jalota, ‘Param Sundari’ is being marketed as a return to the charm of old-school Bollywood romance, complete with sweeping emotions, family drama, and plenty of music.Speaking of music, the soundtrack is already creating buzz. Composers Sachin-Jigar have put together a lively mix of tunes, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Two songs, ‘Pardesiya’ and ‘Bheegi Saree’, are already out.The movie also features Rajeev Khandelwal and Aakash Dahiya in key roles. Behind the scenes, producer Dinesh Vijan has teamed up with Universal Music India, which has acquired the film’s audio rights.Originally set for a July 25 release, ‘Param Sundari’ will now hit cinemas on August 29, 2025.
