Europe Must ‘Get Its Act Together’ on Immigration, Trump Says

July 26-Kolkata, India: On Friday, US President Donald Trump highlighted the immigration issue in Europe and issued a statement asserting that Europe must “get its act together” on immigration, warning that the continent will cease to exist if this ‘invasion’ is not stopped.

After landing at the Prestwick Airport in Ayrshire, Scotland, the US President spoke with some of the media. Trump declared that he needs to inform the European leaders and citizens that immigration is one of the most depressing and important issues.

Donald Trump on the ‘Immigration Issue’

The US President clearly displayed his motives to the media and said, “I could say a couple of things, but on immigration, you’ve got to get your act together. You won’t have Europe anymore.”

Donald Trump continues to state that no immigrant traveled to the US last month. He also took a shot at the former US President Joe Biden for “letting” people enter the nation.

He also added that “You know, last month we had nobody entering our country. We shut it down. We took out a lot of bad people that got there when Biden….. Biden was a total stiff when he allowed it to happen. But you’re allowing it to happen to your countries. And you’ve got to stop this horrible invasion……This immigration is killing Europe.”

Immigration remains one of the most serious issues in Europe, even though it is one of Donald Trump’s main campaign goals. Keir Starmer, the UK Prime Minister, unveiled plans for tighter immigration laws in a public address in May, where he cautioned that the nation was at risk of turning into “an island of strangers.”

The French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Starmer believe that the reciprocal migrant returns agreement, which they both unveiled earlier this month, would help to reduce the number of boat passages in the English Channel.

Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni also highlighted the problem of immigration and she later said that “She will not allow the country to become Europe’s refugee camp.”
