Indian Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh’s Greece visit is a clear message to Turkey

On 25th June 2025,Indian Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh was honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honor in Greece .This was an official visit where Air Chief Marshal, A.P Singh was felicitated with a Guard of Honour at the Papagou Military Base.

The Hellenic Air Force announced that Air Chief Marshal arrived in Greece on 23th June 2025 .A.P Singh arrived in Greece at the invitation of Lieutenant General,Demonthenis Grigoriadis,Chief of The Hellenic Air Force General Staff.

During this official visit ,Air Marshal Singh will visit the Hellenic Air Force Combat Wings and Dekelia Air Base in Tatoi along with Lieutenant General Grigoriadis.The Hellenic Air Force provided information about its collaboration with the Indian Force ,which has been demonstrating through joint participation in military exercises such as ‘INIOCHOS-23′,’INIOCHOS -25’ and the multinational exercise ‘Tarang Shakti 24’,the timing of this visit of Air Force Chief A.P Singh is essential and strategic move to counter Turkey.This is the same Turkey which remains a strategic partner of Pakistan and has recently become platform for anti-India voices .Greece was closely studying the Indian Air Force precision strikes on Pakistan’s terror infrastructure during ‘Operation Sindoor’ observing it was a case study in effective counterterrorism and airpower execution.

According to Greece City Times ,the Greek Air has formally sought strategic insights and tactical data from India ,particularly regarding the pinpoint accuracy with which India deployed advanced fighter jets like the Rafale and Sukhoi during ‘Operation Sindoor’.This growing collaboration signals a significant shift in India’s defence posture -where responding regional provocations,including those from turkey in its own language a part of Air Chief Marshal Singh’s visit in Greece.
