Mastermind Behind 14 Punjab Blasts Nabbed in the US, Say Security Agencies

New Delhi : Harpreet Singh, alias, Happy Pasia , a Punjab national who is responsible for a series of 14 terror attacks in the state in a time span of 6 months is said to be caught in custody by U.S Immigration Department, according to reports.

Sources reveal, he carried out the missions with the help of Pakistan Intelligence Agency — ISI— terrorist Rinda and Khalistani group Babbar Khalsa International.

Pasia was also in the list of India’s top wanted list, who carried a reward of 5 lakh on his head. Reports reveal , he is now in the custody of Immigration and Customs Department ( ICE ).

He has been involved in multiple attacks in the state, including attacks on Police departments in Amritsar. He has publicly took responsibility for all of the acts on his social media.

Timeline of a Terror Spree in Punjab by Pasia :

1. November 23, 2024 – A 1.5 kg IED was discovered and defused outside Ajnala police station in Amritsar before it could detonate.

2. November 29, 2024 – A late-night explosion occurred near a police checkpost in Gurbakhsh Nagar, Amritsar.

3. December 2, 2024 – A grenade was thrown at the Ansar police post in Nawanshahr but failed to explode and was safely defused.

4. December 4, 2024 – A powerful grenade blast rocked the Majitha police station in Amritsar, shattering windows but causing no injuries.

5. December 13, 2024 – A grenade was hurled at the entrance of Ghania’s Bangar police station in Batala but did not explode.

6. December 17, 2024 – An early morning blast near the Islamabad police station in Amritsar shook nearby homes. Jivan Fauji, a German-based gangster linked to Babbar Khalsa International, claimed responsibility.

7. December 18, 2024 – A grenade was detonated at the Bakshiwala police checkpost in Kalanaur, Gurdaspur.

8. December 20, 2024 – Another grenade attack struck the Wadala Bangar police checkpost in Kalanaur, Gurdaspur.

9. January 9, 2025 – An explosion outside the Gumtala police post in Amritsar was initially mistaken for a car radiator blast. Militant Happy Passia later claimed it was a revenge attack for the alleged killing of his comrades.

10. February 3, 2025 – An explosion occurred outside the boundary wall of Fatehgarh Churian police post in Amritsar.

11. February 14, 2025 – A low-intensity blast targeted the residence of a policeman in Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur.

12. March 15, 2025 – Two attackers on a motorcycle hurled a grenade near Thakurdwara temple in Amritsar. One assailant was shot dead by police in an encounter.

13. Date unspecified – A grenade attack targeted the home of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia.

14. April 16, 2025 – A grenade was thrown at a popular YouTuber’s house in Punjab.
