Girl Stabbed in broad daylight by Stalker

A 17 year old girl stabbed by a 20 year old stalker in Sale, Tamil Nadu, after she rejected his marriage proposal. The attacker stabbed the girl around 3:00 PM near the town center, causing her serious injuries.. Passersby rushed both the girl and the stalker to the Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital, where doctors are currently providing them with intensive treatment. The victim’s mother said that her daughter will turn 18 on Tuesday. A passerby reported the matter to the police around 9:30 PM on Sunday and also tried to take the stabbed girl to a hospital, police said.

“The girl sustained serious injuries to her neck and the left side of abdomen. Police recovered a knife from the scene. Doctors admitted both to DDU Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. They are in critical condition,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Surendra Choudhary said in a statement.

Suspect Apprehended at Scene

According to local police, bystanders who intervened during the attack apprehended the suspect at the scene. Authorities have taken him into custody and are charging him with attempted murder.

A police spokesperson stated,
