The ever charming, supremely talented and versatile actress Samantha completed 15 years of her career in South Films. Starting from her career she did more than 50 films for her audience and will continue to do so. The actress expressed her immense love, warmth and happiness over social media for her fans and well- wishers.
CAREER AND SUCCESS
Starting her career with Ye Maya Chesave which was released on Feb 10,2010 hits box office with super success. She acted in web shows like Citadel : Honey Bunny and The Family Man. She became the second actress to win both the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil and Best Actress – Telugu in the same year, for her performances in the 2012 films Neethaane En Ponvasantham and Eega, respectively. In the next few years she did stunning performances in her film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2012), Attarintiki Daredi (2013), Kaththi (2014), Theri (2016), 24 (2016), Mersal (2017), and Rangasthalam (2018).
She received the Hall Of Fame awards in Chennai from eminent directors Raj and DK. Samantha tweeted “15 years. Grateful. Blessed. Loved. Many more to come. Thank you Chennai! Thank you @behindwoodsofficial for the honour.”
