Two bogies get detached mid-track: Howrah Falaknuma Express.

In an unexpected incident, two AC bogies of the Howrah Falaknuma Express got detached mid-track while on its way to Howrah. According to reports, the incident happened in the morning on Tuesday near Palasa of Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, leaving hundred of passengers in distress.
It is believed that the detachment occurred due to some problem in the coach coupling system. The railway officials and technicians arrived at the site immediately upon receiving the alert. A spokesperson reported that no one was injured but the situation created a ruckus among the passengers. It took for more than two hours to get the coaches attached. Other train movement was deferred due to the blockage on the track caused by the halted train. The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of this mishap.
