Hyderabad traffic police have reported that heavy waterlogging at Malakpet Railway Underbridge (RUB) has caused severe traffic congestion. The RUB waterlogging is obstructing movement in both directions—from Nalgonda X Roads to Azampura and vice versa.
In their statement, the traffic police mentioned, “The fire brigade is currently on location trying to alleviate the waterlogging situation. All commuters are advised to use different routes.”
In other developments, it is reported that two farmers died during the last thunderstorm. Their bodies were taken to the Post Mortem Examination (PME) center before being returned to their families.
Police have reported that the victims were aged 60-year-old Gajula Eramma and 45-year-old Saidamma. Their claim is that the pair was caught up in the storm while working in the fields. The remains were brought to PME around 2 PM today and then passed to the family members who were waiting close by.
