After talks, Star, Sony, and Zee returned to cable networks

Desk Story: General entertainment networks from broadcasters like Disney Star, Sony (owned by Culver Max Entertainment), and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) will reappear on all cable television networks after a week-long shutdown.


The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s new tariff decision allows for increased channel rates, and the Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation (IBDF) and the All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) have come to an agreement on this (TRAI). The Kerala high court, which heard the case for a fourth day, did not grant the AIDCF any relief, which led to the resolution.
