New Governors Appointed in 8 States, 4 Governors Transferred: Full Details
Ahead of the much awaited Cabinet Reshuffle of Narendra Modi’s Government, the Centre has appointed new Governors for 8 states. This move has come just two days before the Cabinet expansion.

Here is a list of new governors in eight states:
1. Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot has been appointed as Governor of Karnataka.
2. PS Sreedharan Pillai, who was the Governor of Mizoram, has been transferred and appointed as Goa Governor.
3. Satyadev Narayan Arya, who was the Governor of Haryana, has been transferred and appointed as Tripura Governor.
4. Ramesh Bais, who was Governor of Tripura, has been transferred and appointed as Jharkhand governor.
5. Bandaru Dattatraya, who was Governor of Himachal Pradesh, has been transferred and appointed as Haryana Governor.
6. Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati has been appointed as Governor of Mizoram.
7. Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel has been appointed as Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
8. Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has been appointed as Governor of Himahal Pradesh.
