Today, a person who wanted ‘Maoists’ to take control over India and overthrow India’s democracy is dead. He is Stan Swamy. Swamy suffered from Parkinson’s disease and other age-related illnesses. He fell multiple times while in prison. He suffered from hearing loss in both ears and had undergone surgeries. He passed away due to these ailments.
Many on social media claim that he was just a Tribal Right activist and he was being tortured in Jail. Many blamed the judiciary and many blamed the central government who’s investigating agency had arrested Swamy on charges of conspiring violence in 2018’s Bhima Koregaon Violence case.
Do we really know, who this old man was? He was a christian priest and a leader of PUCL, a frontal organisation of the banned maoist organisation CPI (Maoists). This group has a vision of ousting democracy in India and ruling it.
If Ajmal Kasab was caught before committing the crime of terrorism in India and that too by the central agencies under PM Modi’s government, he would have been given a status of Activist and his death too would have been mourned.
According to me anyone who conspirers against my country must not be given Justice, nor a chance to explain.
