Narendra Modi slams TMC, predicts defeat in Bengal. 

April 23,2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi , at a rally in West Bengal strongly criticised TMC. He said that 4th May, 2026 will be the expiry date of TMC’s rule, referring to the day election results will be announced. By this he meant that the TMC will no longer be in power. 

He also used the terms “syndicate system” and “jungle law” to criticise how the state is being run currently. He said that TMC runs a system where groups control work unfairly and that the law and order are poor in the state. 

BJP’s confidence on winning West Bengal Elections. 

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, said that he is very confident on BJP winning the election in West Bengal. He said that the large number of people coming to cast their vote shows that the people are not satisfied with the current government and are hoping for a change. 

He also said that people involved in corruption or illegal activities have to be penalised after the results are declared. According to him, the law will be applied strictly and those found guilty will be punished. 

BJP continues Strong Campaign Efforts 

The rally is a part of the ongoing campaign of BJP, which is trying to come in power in West Bengal. Leaders including Narendra Modi are holding rallies and meetings in order to gain support from the citizens. 

At the same time, political tension is increasing as the election results are getting closer. Leaders from TMC and other political parties are also campaigning. However, the results will decide which party is going to form the next government in the state.
