Trump Sends Peace Plan to Iran, Iran Allows ‘Non-Hostile’ Vessels through Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump has sent a peace plan to Iran, expressing optimism about ending the nearly month-long war. Iran has announced it will allow “non-hostile” oil vessels to pass through the crucial Strait of Hormuz, a key global trade route.

The plan, reportedly a 15-point proposal, includes Iran handing over enriched uranium, banning further enrichment, and ensuring safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for sanctions relief and assistance in developing civil nuclear energy. However, Iran denies any formal talks are underway.

The development has led to a drop in oil prices, with Brent crude falling nearly 6%. The US is also planning to deploy 3,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East.
