Doordarshan Singer Anita Ghosh Murdered in Parnasree Flat

Doordarshan singer Anita Ghosh’s body was found in a bloody state at her Parnasree flat at Kolkata, with multiple injuries on her head and neck. Police suspect foul play and have arrested her ayah, Sanju Sarkar, who allegedly confessed to the crime.

The motive behind the murder seems to be robbery, as valuables are missing from the flat. Anita’s husband, Arup Ghosh, is bedridden and suffers from dementia.

The police investigation revealed that Sanju had been working as an ayah for the family and had been demanding money from Anita, which led to a scuffle and ultimately the murder. The police are awaiting the post-mortem report and are interrogating Sanju further.
