IT Firm CEO And Two Others Arrested For Alleged Gang Rape in Udaipur

The Udaipur police have also arrested Jitesh Sisodia, the CEO of an IT company, along with a high-ranking female official and her husband, Gaurav Sirohi, for allegedly gang-raping a female manager. The ghastly incident occurred after a birthday party was thrown for Sisodia. According to the woman’s complaint, she was given a ride home after the party, and she was given a lighted cigarette-shaped object, after which she blacked out and woke up only to find herself being assaulted.

After the complaint, a case has been filed by the Sukher police station, and the accused are being prosecuted through certain sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The victim has also undergone a medical checkup, after which her statements have also been recorded officially. The three accused individuals have also appeared in court, after which they are remanded in four days of police custody for further questioning. Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal affirmed that the case would be investigated by Additional SP Madhuri Verma.
