Kolkata: The West Bengal SIR draft electoral roll, also referred to as the SIR draft roll 2025, has been published by the Election Commission of India (ECI), giving voters across the state an opportunity to verify their names and personal details before the final voter list is released. The draft roll is part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise aimed at updating electoral records ahead of upcoming elections.

Officials have urged citizens to check the draft list carefully, as this stage allows voters to flag errors, seek corrections, or apply for inclusion if their names are missing.

Voters can verify their names in the SIR draft voter list using both offline and online methods.

Offline options:
Voters who prefer offline verification can contact their Booth Level Officer (BLO). BLOs received access to the draft rolls nearly 24 hours before public release through a dedicated application and can view booth-wise data to assist residents with preliminary verification.

Another option is to visit the block development office, where the draft electoral roll is available for public access. The draft list will be live for public verification from Tuesday noon (December 16).

Online options:
Voters can also check their details digitally through:

What to Do If Your Name Is Missing from the SIR Draft Roll 2025

Affected voters must fill and submit Form 6 along with Annexure-IV to their Booth Level Officer (BLO). This application can be submitted directly at the BLO’s office for offline processing.

Alternatively, the same forms can be submitted online through the voters.eci.gov.in portal or via the E-NET mobile application, allowing voters to complete the process digitally.
