Drug Enforcement Corruption Busted As CBI Arrests Two Inspectors

They face charges after Ahmad allegedly paid ₹10 lakh in bribes to avoid being implicated in a false case related to procuring restricted drugs. Extortion and Pharmaceutical Misconduct

The CBI’s investigation revealed that the officers pressured Ahmad with the threat of false criminal charges unless he paid up. Ahmad’s nursing home provided medical services that apparently involved restricted medications, which added risk to his situation. The corrupt inspectors reportedly bypassed legal protocols and exploited their authority to demand payment in exchange for dropping the charges.
