AR Rahman’s Quick Wit Lands a Hit at Tacoma Dome

July 24, 2025- Kolkata, India: While performing at the Tacoma Dome, the Indian Oscar-winning composer of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ AR Rahman, who is currently in the US for his ‘Wonderment Tour’, took a playful dig at Coldplay’s “kiss cam” controversy when the cameras moved in the direction of the audience.

The Indian Oscar-winning composer took a little dig at Coldplay’s ‘kiss cam’ controversy when the camera panned in the direction of the audience at the Tacamo Dome in Tacamo, Washington.When the energetic concertgoers were shown on the screen waving at the camera, AR Rahman joked and said, “I won’t get you into trouble. Don’t worry.” Soon after the remark, the crowd burst into laughter, and the Indian Oscar-winning composer soon received a massive standing ovation from the audience.

AR Rahman took a direct jab at the “kiss cam” controversy, which took place at a recent Coldplay concert in Gilette Stadium, Massachusetts.

As soon as the video became viral, Andy Bryon stepped down as the CEO of Astronomer and the company posted an official statement on X by saying that “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Co-found Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”
