“Uncle, ye kya hai?” — Woman Confronts Elderly Man for Secretly Taking Her Photos Outside Dilwara Jain Temple

An unsettling incident outside the Dilwara Jain Temple in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, has triggered widespread public anger after a woman confronted an elderly man for allegedly taking inappropriate photographs of her without her consent.

The woman, who was waiting near the temple premises wearing a short dress, noticed the man behaving suspiciously. He was reportedly glancing at her repeatedly and appeared to be discreetly pointing his phone camera toward her legs. Acting on her instincts, she approached him and insisted on checking his phone’s photo gallery.

Upon reviewing the phone, she discovered multiple images of herself, taken without her knowledge. Disturbed by the invasion of her privacy, she confronted the man directly:

“Uncle ye kya hai? Kya kar rahe ho aap? Kyun le rahe ho mere pictures? Mere pairon ki photos kyun le rahe ho?”

She also pointed out that his constant staring had already made her feel uneasy. Although the man quickly deleted the images in front of her, she raised a valid concern about potential cloud backups and digital storage:

“Deleting them doesn’t mean they’re gone,” she remarked, highlighting the ongoing anxiety women face regarding the misuse of their images online.

Shockingly, despite having just deleted the photos, the man denied taking them altogether.

“You just deleted them! Badtameez. As*le,” she responded, before walking away from the scene.

The incident, which was recorded by the woman and later shared online, has since gone viral. It has prompted a wave of condemnation on social media, with users tagging Rajasthan Police and tourism officials, demanding that the accused be identified and held accountable.

This incident has reignited urgent conversations around privacy, consent, and the need for stronger measures to ensure women’s safety in public and religious spaces.
