India’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh: Full Schedule

India's tour to Bangladesh will start on 17 August for a six match white-ball tour.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the dates for India’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh starting August 17, 2025. The white-ball tour will consist of three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

This tour presents India with a chance to assess their bench strength. There is an opportunity to evaluate various combinations, particularly in anticipation of a packed international calender.

The ODI series

The Indian team will land in Dhaka on 13 August ahead of the ODI series. The first and second matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The third and final ODI will be played in Chattogram.

ODI Series:

1st ODI - 17 August, Mirpur
2nd ODI - 20 August, Mirpur
3rd ODI - 23 August, Chattogram

The T20I series

This will be the first time Bangladesh will host India in a T20I bilateral series at home. This series will be a part of India’s preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup in 2026. It will be held in India along with Sri Lanka during February to March 2026. India are the defending champions.

The T20I series will start on 26 August in Chattogram. The action will head back to Mirpur for the second and third T20Is.

T20I Series:

1st T20I - 26 August, Chattogram
2nd T20I - 29 August, Mirpur
3rd T20I - 31 August , Mirpur

Recent Ind-Ban results

India will face their first white-ball assignment in Bangladesh since 2022. During their previous tour, Bangladesh secured a 2-1 victory in the ODI series, and the hosts will aim to replicate this success on their home soil.

In 2024, Bangladesh toured India for a T20I series, in which the host nation secured a decisive 3-0 victory.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Nizam Uddin Chowdhury expressed his excitement about the upcoming series, stating: “This series promises to be one of the most exciting and most anticipated events in our home calendar.

“India have set the benchmark in international cricket across all formats and the cricket-loving millions in both countries are sure to enjoy this contest.

“Bangladesh and India have played some very competitive matches in recent years, and I am confident that this will be another hard-fought and entertaining series,” he concluded.
