Anubrata Mondal Faces Protest at TMC Office in Suri

Trinamool Congress leader Anubrata Mondal faced a protest at a party office in Suri, Birbhum. The incident took place when Mondal was reportedly present inside the office.

According to reports, three young men entered the TMC office carrying sticks. They allegedly damaged furniture and created tension inside the office. Mondal was also reportedly threatened during the incident.

Police reached the spot soon after the incident and detained the three men. During the time they were being taken away, a “Jai Shri Ram” slogan was reportedly heard.

The incident has led to a fresh political dispute in Birbhum. The BJP has denied that the men involved were its party workers. BJP leaders have also criticised Anubrata Mondal and his political role in the area.
Police are investigating the incident and trying to find out the exact reason behind the attack.
