Suvendu Adhikari Announces Tough Action as Anti-Goon Law Comes Into Force Today

A BJP worker was allegedly beaten to death in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas. The deceased has been identified as Bapi Pramanik. His family has accused Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers of being involved in his death.
According to police sources, the incident took place in the Tangarberia area under Baruipur police station. The trouble reportedly started over the formation of a local Puja committee. A dispute developed between the two sides, which later turned violent.

The family alleged that some people linked to the TMC called Bapi Pramanik out of his house. They claimed that he was then attacked and severely beaten. Bapi suffered serious injuries during the alleged attack.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. However, doctors later declared him dead. Following the incident, tension was reported in the area.
The family has blamed TMC workers for the death and has demanded action against those responsible. The allegations, however, have not yet been independently confirmed.

Police have started investigating the incident and are looking into the exact reason behind the clash and the circumstances that led to Bapi Pramanik’s death. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
