Another Court Breakthrough! Abhishek Banerjee Gets Major Relief Again in ‘Sebashray’ Case

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress MP from Diamond Harbour Abhishek Banerjee has got major relief from the Calcutta High Court in the ‘Sebashray’ corruption case.
The court has ordered that no strict action can be taken against Abhishek until September 11.
A bench led by Justice Sougata Bhattacharya gave him temporary protection in three cases, including the Sebashray corruption case.
Police had earlier filed 16 FIRs against Abhishek Banerjee. He had approached the High Court for protection from police action.
Before this order, Abhishek had already received protection in five cases. Now, the court has given him protection in three more cases.
The latest order means that, until September 11, the police cannot take strict action against Abhishek in these three cases.
The case will be heard again by the court, and further decisions will be taken based on the proceedings.
