President Begins Budget Session with Tribute to Rabindranath Tagore

Delhi witnessed an unprecedented day. The Budget Session of Parliament began on January 28, 2026. The session began with President Draupadi Murmur’s address. In his speech, the vision of Rabindranath Tagore was mixed with the future of India. The President struck an excellent rapport with the people of Bengal on India’s role in maintaining world peace. President Droupadi Murmur opened the budget session by quoting lines from the poet’s timeless creation ‘Muktadhara’ (or homogeneous work). Following the path of Rabindranath Tagore, he explained that today’s new self-reliant India has been formed. India is following the same path. Today, the manufacturing industry is reaching different markets of the country with the Make in India vision. The enthusiasm among the people of the country regarding the indigenous production based products is also remarkable. The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme has attracted an investment of Rs 2 lakh crore so far. India’s electronics sector is growing at an unprecedented pace. The 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram is being celebrated across the country. Not only this, India’s goal of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ is seen in a deeper way.
