West Bengal Weather Update: New low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, a major obstacle to winter in Bengal

On the contrary, the weather office’s forecast indicates that the night temperature may increase slightly in the next few days. As a result, the hope of winter’s comeback in the last part of November is practically gone.

The main reason for such a situation has emerged as a newly formed low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. This system, which is already concentrated at sea level, may take the form of a full-fledged depression tomorrow. According to meteorologists, there is a high possibility that it will turn into a deep depression in the next stage. This untimely low pressure has become a major obstacle in the progress of winter.

According to the Meteorological Department, this low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal may directly affect several southern states including Tamil Nadu. The possibility of heavy rain and gusty winds cannot be ruled out. However, we will have to wait for some more time to know how much direct impact this low pressure will have on West Bengal.

According to experts, every time a low pressure or deep depression forms in the Bay of Bengal, the cold air from North India cannot reach Bengal. This time too is no exception. As a result, instead of the cold not increasing, the temperature is expected to increase further by the end of November.
