Bengal SIR: Special Revision of Voter List (SIR) in West Bengal: Can enumeration form be submitted online? Know the whole process, links, important information

West Bengal : The process of Special  Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in West Bengal has already started. This time, the Election Commission has also introduced the facility of filling the enumeration form online for the convenience of the voters. However, according to sources, the publication of the form was delayed due to some technical problems at the beginning of the week, but the online forms have been launched from Thursday (November 6) morning.

Where can I find the online form?

Voters can fill the enumeration form online through the official website of the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal (CEO West Bengal) https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in  . A QR code has also been provided, which if scanned will directly lead to the SIR 2026 form and the 2002 voter list. At the same time, the form can also be accessed through the ECINET mobile app, the Election Commission has informed.

How to fill in information in an online form?

The name and phone number of your Booth Level Officer (BLO) will be printed in English at the top of the form. Voters can contact the BLO directly if necessary.

The first part of the form will contain the necessary information including the voter’s name (in Bengali), EPIC number, address, serial number, part number, assembly constituency and state name — all pre-printed. It will also contain a picture of your voter card and a QR code.

Voters will have to login to the form using their EPIC number. After downloading the form, the pre-printed information will have to be verified against the voter card. Then, the remaining parts will have to be filled and submitted online with an e-signature.

• House-to-house information collection: November 4 to December 4

• Voters can book a phone call with the BLO by visiting a specific tab on the ECI portal. All they need to do is enter their EPIC number and the captcha code.

Why was the launch scheduled for November 4th delayed?

It was initially announced that the online form system would be launched from November 4. But when the BLOs started distributing the forms to the voters’ homes from that day, it was found that the online option was not working. Later, the Election Commission said that the delay was due to a technical issue related to the server. However, the issue has now been resolved and the forms are now available online.
