J&K Police Release Sketches of 3 Terrorists Linked to Pahalgam Attack That Killed 26

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday released sketches of three terrorists suspected to be behind the deadly Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives. The visuals, created with the help of eyewitness accounts, aim to help identify and track down the attackers.


According to officials, the attack took place at the popular tourist spot, Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, where a group of tourists came under sudden gunfire. Suspected terrorists belonging to โThe Resistance Frontโ โ believed to be an offshoot of the banned terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba โ are behind the attack.
Initial intelligence inputs suggest that the plan was orchestrated by top Lashkar commander Saifullah Khalid, along with two operatives from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
However, these details have not been independently confirmed.The police have urged the public to come forward with any information that could help identify or locate the suspects.
