India to Host Windies and SA; Guwahati Set for Historic Test Debut

Guwahati will become the 30th venue to host a Test match in India, when it hosts the second Test against South Africa from November 22 to 26.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the 2025-26 home international season, featuring Test series against the West Indies and South Africa as part of the World Test Championship fixtures.

India’s Test Schedule

India will play four home Tests in the 2025-26 season, with Ahmedabad, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Guwahati as the host venues.

West Indies Tour of India: India will host the West Indies for a two-Test series, starting October 6.

First Test: Ahmedabad (October 6-10)

Second Test: Kolkata (October 14-18)

South Africa Tour of India:

First Test: New Delhi (November 18-22)

Second Test: Guwahati (November 26-30)

India vs South Africa Limited-Overs Series:

Following the Tests, India will face South Africa in three ODIs and five T20Is.

ODI Series:

First ODI: Ranchi (November 30)

Second ODI: Raipur (December 3)

Third ODI: Visakhapatnam (December 6)

T20I Series:

First T20: Cuttack (December 9)

Second T20: Mullanpur (December 11)

Third T20: Dharamsala (December 14)

Fourth T20: Lucknow (December 17)

Fifth T20: Ahmedabad (December 19)

The ODIs will be played as day-night fixtures starting at 1:30 PM IST, while the T20s will be night matches beginning at 7:00 PM IST.

Women’s ODI World Cup 2025

Apart from the men’s bilateral series, India will also host the Women’s ODI World Cup during the home season. The final of the tournament will be held in Mullanpur (Chandigarh).
