RG Kar Case : Verdict will be announced on January 18

Just a few more days, then the verdict in the doctor’s murder-rape case at the much talked about RGkar hospital. The verdict in the RGKar rape-murder case will be announced on January 18. The trial of the case against Sanjay Rai accused of raping a young doctor has now been completed.

The Sealdah court has informed, “The verdict will be announced on January 18 at 2.30 pm”.

The trial of the case started on November 11 last year and was completed in just 60 days, which according to lawyers is being marked as one of the fastest trial. The lawyer for the accused civic volunteer completed the questioning in the RG Kar murder-rape case on Wednesday. The Central Investigation Agency CBI completed its statement on Thursday. Tilottma’s parents also filed separate petitions seeking justice. On this day, their statements were also heard in the court. The hearing was going on in a closed room in the court. Now the court will announce the verdict.

It has been informed that the verdict will be announced on January 18, Saturday, at 2.30 pm. The whole country was shaken by the incident of RG Kar. Multiple corruptions in RG Kar Medical College emerged from one incident. Sandeep Ghosh, the then director of RG Tax, was arrested. Now the Sealdah court will announce the verdict in the original case.

This verdict is being announced after 5 months and 9 days of the incident. It will be clear in the announcement of the verdict, who is the real culprit? What will be the punishment of the caught civic volunteer? The entire state is looking at that verdict. Tilottama’s parents have appealed for maximum punishment.

Tilottma’s mother said, “I think someone from the hospital is also involved. It is not possible for one person to kill my daughter. When everyone is punished, my daughter’s soul will rest in peace.” Looking forward to January 18, the whole of Bengal and the entire Bengali community.
