Surya M Achar, a third-year BTech Computer Science student, tragically took his own life by jumping from a building on Friday night, October 27, at around 8.30 pm. This incident, occurring just a week after a charge sheet was filed against two professors and the Controller of Examination in connection with another student’s suicide, has left the academic community in deep turmoil.
