The movie, which was directed by Sudipto Sen, is claimed to be on the Kerala-based “ISIS brides.” According to the movie’s trailer, 32,000 females from Kerala went missing before joining the dangerous extremist organisation known as ISIS, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Release day for The Kerala Story is May 5.
