India gearing up for another war, claims Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has claimed that India is preparing for another war, urging New Delhi to step back from the “theatre of war” and return to negotiations for regional security.

Zardari made this statement while addressing a joint session of Parliament, criticizing India’s stance on the Indus Waters Treaty and reiterating Pakistan’s position on Kashmir. He accused India of committing “hydro-terrorism” by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, saying it was an attempt to exert political pressure on Pakistan. Zardari also expressed concerns about cross-border attacks from Afghanistan, accusing the Taliban government of failing to prevent militant groups from operating from Afghan soil.

India has rejected Pakistan’s allegations, stating that it is committed to resolving disputes through dialogue. The situation remains tense, with both countries strengthening their military preparedness.
