Forged Degrees, Trusted Classroom: Kalighat School Teacher Under Police Scanner for Massive Fraud

According to the sources at Kalighat Police Station, the complaint was actually lodged on Thursday, January. The claims state that the teacher has presented fake copies of her academic qualifications. She also submitted other crucial documents to obtain a job in a school. This school is located on Rani Shankari Lane in Kalighat. People claim she worked in the institution extensively. She was not discovered due to the supposed lack of authentic qualifications.

A case of a criminal conspiracy has been filed against the teacher. This is according to the police officials. The allegation also includes people who might have helped the teacher. They may have been involved in preparing or submitting the forged documents. One of the senior officers commented that the case does not seem like a single case. Investigators are considering whether it was something planned and whether several individuals were involved.

It is claimed that the accused teacher is a resident of the Rasa Road in Tollygunge. After the complaint was received, investigators started to cheque her academic education and the work history. Early evidence shows that there are great discrepancies between the documents provided and the official documentation. The magnitude of the supposed economic damage has increased people indignation. The complainant claims that the teacher embezzled the school a sum of about 45 lakh. This sum included not only her monthly wage but also other benefits, allowances, and amenities. She was not legally entitled to these.
