Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also to skip Russia-Ukraine Peace Talks in Turkey
Turkey : After the backing out of U.S President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, following their path Ukraine President Zelenskyy also backs out from the Russia-Ukraine peace talks to be held in Instanbul,Turkey. ย Instead of representing themselves at the conference, Kyiv and Moscow will be sending delegations led by senior defense, intelligence, and diplomatic officials.

Ukraine Delegation
According to a presidential decree released Thursday, Ukraine’s team will be headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and comprise top military and intelligence officers.
Zelenskyy blasted the structure of Russia’s group while speaking with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, charging Moscow with not taking the talks seriously.
Russian Delegation
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin also announced that the official delegation would represent Russia during the peace talks in Turkey over the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Kremlin aide Vladimir Medinsky will head the Russian delegation and he will be joined by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin, and Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) and Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces
Trump’s Remarks
Despite previous indications that he would change his Middle East trip to attend the Istanbul meeting, Trump stated he would not be there. No peace agreement would be reached “until Putin and I get together,” he asserted.
