Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah lost his temper during a rally in Belagavi on Monday when a group of women, allegedly BJP workers, tried to disrupt his speech by waving black flags and shouting slogans.

Clearly upset, Siddaramaiah summoned a senior police officer onto the stage.

“Come here, who is the SP? What are you doing?” he asked sternly.

Out of frustration, the CM raised his hand at the officer but quickly withdrew it.
He then directed the officer to remove the disruptors immediately.

Despite efforts by Randeep Singh Surjewala and H K Patil to calm him, Siddaramaiah continued expressing his anger.

Siddaramaiah Slams BJP for Disruption

Resuming his address at the “Samvidhan Bachao and Anti-Price Rise Rally,” Siddaramaiah accused the BJP and RSS of trying to divide society.

“They incite trouble wherever they go. We won’t fear them. We will face them publicly,” he said.

He condemned the BJPโ€™s actions, asking,

“Don’t you feel ashamed to disrupt a Congress rally?”

The Chief Minister urged the crowd not to get distracted and continue with the protest against rising prices.

Six Arrested After Rally Incident

IGP Chetan Singh Rathore confirmed that six women were arrested for unlawful assembly and provocation to breach peace.
Police registered the case based on a complaint from Congress workers.

“The women waved black flags and shouted slogans. Further investigation is ongoing,” Rathore said, declining to comment on the CMโ€™s behavior toward the officer.

Congress Warns BJP of Counteractions

Later, Deputy CM and State Congress President D K Shivakumar warned the BJP.
He said if such disruptions continue, Congress would block BJP meetings across Karnataka.

“If this attitude persists, we will counter on a larger scale. This is a warning,” Shivakumar declared.

He criticized BJP workers for trying to infiltrate a Congress event using Congress cards.

BJP Hits Back, Accuses Siddaramaiah of Arrogance

State BJP President B Y Vijayendra took a sharp dig at Siddaramaiah, accusing him of following a “Pakistan model” rather than Gandhian principles.

“He appears more determined to qualify for Pakistani citizenship than to uphold Indian democracy,” Vijayendra wrote on X.

He labeled Siddaramaiah a “repeat offender,” citing past incidents where the CM allegedly insulted voters and officials.

Leader of Opposition R Ashoka also criticized Siddaramaiah, reminding him that

“Officials are not household servants. Misbehavior damages the state’s reputation.”

Ashoka urged the Chief Minister to respect democratic norms.
