Rahul Shivshankar has quit Times Now. He was the Editor In Chief of the channel for about 7 years. He was brought in after Arnab Goswami quit the channels.

Top sources in Times Now told NewsTapOne.com that Times Now’s Human Resource department has issued an email to its entire staff, notifying them that the channel will now be under the leadership of Navika Kumar, the group editor. The email explicitly states that Rahul Shivshankar has made the decision to sever ties with the network. As a result, Navika Kumar will assume immediate control of the channel’s operations, and all operating content managers from the Times Now team will report directly to her.

Here is an excerpt from the email.

[Rahul] decided to part ways with the network. In view of this, with immediate effect the operations of the channel will be under the charge of Navika Kumar, group editor. All operating content managers of the Times Now team will consequently report to Navika.
